Western owned Russian tobacco producer Leggett Ducat will officially open its new $85 million Moscow factory on May 24, company General Director Ronald J. Bernstein said. The new factory will have a production capacity of 30 billion cigarettes per year; more than double that of the old operation.
Currently, the company's main brands are Prima, Pegasus and Russian-style 'papirosy' cigarettes like Kazbek and Belamor Canal.
